Clarity Professional - International Citizen Advice
We are a team of qualified professionals with international experience in various fields both in the public sector and as freelancers: from education to social security services, from public administration to accounting services, both in the UK and in Europe.
We have decided to put our expertise at the service of people by providing a wide range of services to private individuals, companies and institutions.
We are in Continuing Professional Development, therefore we attend conferences, courses and other events in order to gain, improve and enhance our skills and professionalism. We are passionate about what we do, and we are committed to providing excellent customer service.
1. Accounting, Bookkeeping & Taxation: these are aimed at private individuals, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises. We will provide professional support for your business, and for taxation issues and more.
2. Tuition, Translation & Interpreting: these are aimed at both private individuals, and small to medium-sized businesses. Specifically, we provide private English and Italian lessons, whatever your age or your level of ability, which are designed to meet the needs of all our students. We also offer translation and interpreting services.
3. Administration, Bureaucracy & Welfare: we help people with complex procedures, certifications and more.
We pay particular attention to the environment. We will always look for eco-friendly solutions and strategies to reduce consumption and pollution whenever possible.
CODES OF ETHICS
The fundamental principles of Code of Ethics for accountants (summary):
Integrity to be straightforward and honest in all professional and business relationships.
Objectivity to not allow bias, conflict of interest or undue influence of others to override professional or business judgements.
Professional competence and due care to maintain professional knowledge and skill at the level required to ensure that a client
or employer receives competent professional service based on current developments in practice, legislation and techniques. A
member shall act diligently and in accordance with applicable technical and professional standards when providing professional services.
Confidentiality to act, in accordance with the law, respect the confidentiality of information acquired as a result of prof essional and business relationships and not disclose any such information to third parties without proper and specific authority unless there is a legal or professional right or duty to disclose. Confidential information acquired as a result of professional and business relationships shall not be used for the personal advantage of the member or third parties
Professional behaviour to comply with relevant laws and regulations and avoid any conduct that discredits the profession
The fundamental principles of Code of Ethics for Intrepreters and Translators (summary):
Honesty and integrity: In advertising their services members must ensure that the information they include is factual and relevant, does not mislead and is not unfair to anyone else.
Professional competence: For as long as they continue in practice, members and, in case of corporate members their translator and interpreter employees, are required to undertake continuing professional development as appropriate, in order to continue to offer the highest possible standards of work by maintaining and updating their language skills, subject knowledge or any other skills or knowledge necessary for the work.
Client confidentiality and trust: Members shall maintain complete confidentiality at all times and treat any information that may come to them in the course of their work as privileged information, not to be communicated to any third party without prior written authority. They shall also require all those assisting them in their work to be similarly bound.
Relationships with other members: MUTUAL ASSISTANCE: 1.1 Members shall assist each other in every practical way and shall conduct themselves loyally towards theirfellow members and the Institute. 2.RESPECT 2.1 Members must be respectful to each other and shall not intentionally seek to damage another member’s reputation or business. 2.2
MEMBERS MUST NOT DELIBERATELY APPROACH ANOTHER MEMBER'S CLIENT WITH A VIEW TO OBTAINING WORK FROM THAT CLIENT
